By accessing and using the Platinum Online Pharmacy Prescriber Portal ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. This Service is intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals authorised to prescribe medications in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

To use this Service, you must:

  • Be a registered healthcare professional with valid prescribing authority
  • Hold current registration with the appropriate regulatory body (GMC, NMC, GPhC, etc.)
  • Maintain professional indemnity insurance
  • Comply with all applicable laws and professional guidelines

3. Prescriber Responsibilities

As a prescriber using this Service, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring all prescriptions are clinically appropriate and within your competence
  • Verifying patient identity and medical history before prescribing
  • Maintaining accurate and complete patient records
  • Complying with all controlled drug regulations where applicable
  • Reporting any adverse events or safety concerns
  • Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential

4. Digital Signatures

By using the digital signature feature, you confirm that your electronic signature carries the same legal weight as a handwritten signature and that you are the authorised signatory. You must not share your signature credentials with any other person.

5. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Patient data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle personal data.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Platinum Online Pharmacy is not liable for any clinical decisions made using this Service. Professional responsibility for prescribing remains with the prescriber at all times.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used fraudulently, or where the prescriber's registration status changes. You may also request account deletion by contacting our support team.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
